Lily is not my life. I have lots of other things going on. However, she definitely gives my life meaning. She is pretty significant. It's nice to be welcomed home, to be in such a safe place that she can fall asleep on my lap or leaning against me or on my feet. 

And while I like to make other people feel safe, I don't want most of them falling asleep on my lap or my feet.
