Leslie is always giving me a hard time about he accuracy of my blog.  It's as if she thinks that my reporting of how I experience (or would have liked to experience) the world should be somehow based in fact.  

Leslie: Um... I don't think I said that.  

Me:  You are a writer! You cannot even PRETEND to be annoyed with my ---

Leslie: Liberal interpretation of history?

Me: (long pause)  yes.

Life is a creative endeavor.  I would be very sad if I let actuality, reality or accuracy get in my way.
