That I cannot answer.
Maybe the larger questions ought to be, why do we so narrowly define the "right" way to use kitchen utensils? Why do those involved in kitchenry and cookery have to have such tunnel vision? I bet there are a lot of really good alternate uses for lemon zesters and cheese graters and skewers.
Well, not cheese graters because they scare me.
