I think it is essential to have a sense of humor to get through things. I mean, maybe someone can do it without humor, but not around me. 

I don't know when you start to develop a sense of humor or if it is something you are born with. I think it starts around the age of two. Maybe it starts earlier than that, but until babies have words their jokes are sort of rambly.

This is what I remember as Aurora's first joke. It was a good one.

Aurora: No. No. No. No.

Me: Can you say anything else?

Aurora: Anything else.

Smart aleck.

I really like that kid.
