If Lily were a poet, I think she would write mainly odes. Ode to a Treat; Ode to a Hike: Ode to Belly Rubs. But if she drank, I bet she could write a good limerick, too.
There was a young puppy from town
Who followed nice people around.
She'd wag her sweet tail
And then without fail
Would flop belly up on the ground.
