So, do you even know what the story Puss in Boots is about? It's about a sneaking, conniving cat who deceives a king into giving up wealth, power, and a princess to the cat's poor master. This is not a good story. A better story would be about a cat who learns to put away boots and shoes and dishes and to vacuum. That would be a really good story.
