When I posted this on Facebook, I wrote, "I wonder if this kid has read It."  Then I looked for a quote from It to include in this post.  And I accidentally read a passage from It.  I don't like that book.  And I hate clowns.

So now my own photo totally creeps me out.

Just after I took this photo, the kid's dad took his hand and the kid stepped tentatively on the grate.  You could tell he didn't know if it was safe or not.  His dad showed him it was safe.
