Screaming

Like the saying goes, "Too much control to a kid is a bad thing."  (pause)  Granted it is not a hugely popular saying, but that's not my point.

My point is when a kid says, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream," do NOT -- I repeat DO NOT give that kid ice cream.  Otherwise you're just rewarding that behavior and setting yourself up for a lifetime of temper tantrums.

(pause)

Of course if your kid says, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for healthy fruits and vegetables," I don't know what to tell you.  I just don't know.
