I think it would be good to use weather to teach kids about colors. Purple rain. Blue skies. Yellow snow. White frost. Red dawn. Green mist. Brown fog. Orange tornadoes. Pink humidity. Gray thundersnow.

Why gray thundersnow? Because thundersnow is the coolest weather ever and I like the color gray.

That said, if you try to replace the words "Purple rain" with "Gray thundersnow" you're really going to have a hard time singing that song.
