Now, I do not really expect a response. Kipling wrote a long time ago when gender was different (was it different - maybe not) and power and privilege were different (were they? again, maybe not all that different). His social and cultural circumstances were different than mine are. The world was both bigger and smaller. The thinking was smaller. I also don't expect a response because he died in 1936.
