I disagree, Otis. I don't think that is a waste of time at all. Watching the tide can be relaxing. You can find your peace watching the tide. You can remember your place and purpose in the world.

Unless you're talking about watching an empty Tide detergent container. In that case, I agree. Go get that before it rolls away. Litterbug.
