After enlightenment, the laundry.
~ Zen proverb
-----
One time my mom was helping my Grandma Boettcher clean out her back porch. There was a sack with clothespins and rags / laundry in it. My mom reached down in the bag to get out the rags. She stuck her hand in something smooth and squirmy. She dumped out the bag and found a nest of tiny, hairless, pink baby mice.
Then my mom threw up.
