So, Maddie has her permit and is learning to drive. The other day, as we returned home from a family adventure, Maddie took a turn at the wheel. We were in the van and Elizabeth had not quite settled in after a stop at a gas station.

Maddie shouted at Elizabeth, "If I get pulled over because you're not wearing your seatbelt, I'm gonna freak out. (pause) AND hurt you!"

I looked back and saw Elizabeth buckled in and took a picture (see above) of her.

Maddie is going to be a great parent someday.

And Elizabeth will be a great Crazy Aunt.
