Bridge

Moving forward is not free.  Sometimes it is freeing, but crossing rivers, bridges and time comes with a cost.

 

We leave something behind as we move forward.  Bridges and paths and stories don't simply connect places, they connect moments in time. 

You just can't take it with you.  

Well, you can't take it all with you - especially when you cross a bridge.  Bridges aren't made to sustain the weight of all of our baggage.  We have to leave some of that behind.  Which is why you shouldn't burn bridges. You might need some of that stuff later.  You just don't know.

And it's okay not to know what is in your future.  Life wouldn't be as fun if you had to constantly worry about a spoiler alert.
