Nest

A nest egg is an egg - real or otherwise - put into a nest to encourage a hen to keep laying. I learned that just a bit ago. I know we usually think of it in terms of savings for the future, but it was a real thing (probably still is).

My point is, I would not want to be responsible for putting the nest egg in this nest.
