If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it.

- - - - -What if instead of looking for "stress relievers" we looked for "stress believers?" I think that would give us support and would help us cultivate more stress because we'd have some validation. And more stress means more energy and more productivity and a shorter life span. So then we have population control.
But there should be a few of us (and by "us" I mean most certainly ME and maybe a few others) who will need to just sit back and observe.
