I, for one, am glad there is so much spending on defense.  I think that it is funding well spent.  People criticize defense-spending and highlight other priorities.  Every person has a right to her or his opinion.  This blog is where I express mine.  I think funding defense is important.

Of course, it is very selfish on my part.  I have my doctoral defense today and that check I got in the mail for $ 1.5 trillion is really going to come in handy.
