Laugh

I believe God has a sense of humor.  Or - you don't have to call it God.  I believe part of the balance in the universe is maintained through humor.  There are just too many funny things for whatever exists not to appreciate those things.

 

Like while we were on vacation and swimming and Leslie told a seagull flying overhead to poop on me.  Almost immediately the bird pooped.  Fortunately, it was not directly over me. 

 

I have never seen a bird poop from that angle before.  It was kind of a miracle of nature.

 

Not all miracles are beautiful.  Not all miracles are funny.  Like Miracle Whip. 

 

Still we should watch for and appreciate miracles.  And laugh when it's appropriate.  And laugh occasionally when it is inappropriate.  But when it's inappropriate, we should probably laugh a little more quietly. 

 

Learned that one the hard way.
