Roots

Our roots keep us grounded.  The keep us attached.  They nourish us. 

They can also limit us.  We can't just go strolling around if we are bound too tightly by our roots. 

I'm glad I'm not a tree.

Those baby birds yapping at all hours would really get on my nerves.
