Trail

Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and numbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy.

I also like to walk - especially on trails - when things start to get to me. It helps me find some peace and calm and gets me back in touch with the deeper reality that matters rather than the superficial static and noise in my daily world.

That said - when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares do not fall from me. I just have different cares. Especially if I am very close to the coyote.
