I'm writing in a coffee shop right now. There have been three or four other people who have come in and written here today. Right now there is just one guy. He is sitting at the table directly in front of me. He has a book he is reading and has his laptop open.

Do I worry that what he is doing and thinking and writing is "better" than what I am doing and thinking and writing? No. That's silly. It's not a competition.

But if it was a competition, I would win.
