Vandalism

I don't understand why when we destroy something created by man we call it vandalism, but when we destroy something created by nature we call it progress.

I wonder what would happen if you went around and painted "VOICE" over "U.S." on mailboxes. It's kind of a funny joke, but I have to believe that after a couple dozen mailboxes you'd wonder, "Why am I wasting my time on this?"

Also, according to 18 USC 1705 if you get caught you might have to go to prison for three years and/or pay a $250,000 fine.
