Synonym

This word isn't in the the thesaurus, but here's the definition...

The other day I was looking up synonyms for "librarian" and got the response quoted above. While gendered, I have read about the "book women" who shared books via the Pack Horse Library Project as part of the WPA during the Great Depression.

Anyway, my point is, I think it is interesting that there is no synonym for librarian. I feel like the librarians made this happen intentionally. You know how snooty they can be.
