My grandparents lived on a farm near Rake, Iowa for most of my kid years.  I loved being there.  I didn't love going there because it was a long drive (like 3 hours or something!!) and I used to get car sick.

Anyway, a while ago when I drove there, I told Leslie the farm was about "two miles" from town.  When I got there, my guess is that the farm was about 1/4 mile from town now.  It WAS 2 miles when I was a kid, however.  Well, if you use the "Kid Leg Length Conversion Chart," that is.
