Lily's friend: Then why are you chewing on my ear?

Lily: That's called conversation. "Let me chew your ear for a minute."

Lily's friend: That's "Let me BEND your ear for a moment."

Lily: If I bend your ear, you can't hear me.

Lily's friend: If you chew my ear I can't hear you.

(pause)

Lily: I think you're great.
