Shadow

It's not great to get all the sunshine or all the shadow. It's great to get some of each. Unless you're a fern. Fern would also be a good name for a character in a book who is in the shadows while her sister gets all the sunshine and attention and love. And then at the end of the novel you find out that Fern wasn't the other woman's sister at all. Fern was just a plant.
