Leslie: I just saw an alligator! It was sunning itself in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, it scurried off before I could take a photo. Crazy!!!
Me: Whoa!! I wonder why it crossed the road. Probably having chicken for dinner!!!
Leslie: I think it didn't want to get run over!
Me: oh.
Leslie kind of ruins even exciting things sometimes with her common senseness. But she is really good at packing for and planning travel routes for trips, so it all evens out.
