Church

Even kids who were mean to me at school had to be nice to me at church. Or at least not as mean as they were at school.

I think kids are mean to other kids in church because kids are mean. I don't think they do it to see if God's wrath will rain down on them. At least I never heard a kid say that's why she was being mean to another kid at church.

(pause)

I guess I never heard a kid say that outside of church, either.
