Chuckwagons and pushcarts served cowboys and urban workers, respectively, all the way back to the years right after the Civil War... In the 1950s, ice cream trucks were the first businesses to take to the streets in modified vehicles that look almost exactly like their trucks today.

Once upon a time Leslie shared with me that Clemson was having concert trucks around campus for mobile entertainment venues. We agreed that it was a pretty cool idea. Leslie said she also hoped they had food trucks on site with the music. I said I also hoped they had couch trucks.
