I found these haikus I wrote about Ripley. He was a good dog. Playing with Zeke in Canada reminded me of playing with Ripley when he was a puppy.

quiet home, no sound,
a sudden explosion here
my dog is farting

nothing is better
than walking the woods alone
except with your dog

when I throw the ball
my dog Ripley chases it
and brings it to me

don't eat the garbage
it gives you diarrhea
stupid, nasty dog

my dog is the best
loyal, faithful,  honest, true
he loves me back, too

Dogs are good.
