I used to go to movies all the time. They were my escape from difficult times in my life. They were a few minutes away from some challenging people. Being enveloped in the darkness was like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cool evening. 

I don't go to movies much anymore because young people turn their phones on through the whole film and old people don't know how to turn their ringers off during the film.

I don't really watch movies on my phone, but if that is what I did now that would be all kinds of ironic.
