Sun

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

Why do I see more sunsets than sunrises?
Because I'm already up at sunset.

And if I saw neither - if I was inside and locked away from the day beginning or end, would I be sad? Would I miss the light? Would I grow to loathe the darkness?

Maybe. But I would also be a vampire. One that could fly. And hopefully one who had really good night vision so I wouldn't run into telephone poles.
