I see skies of blue and clouds of white...

I like that song "Wonderful World." Until recently though I misunderstood the next line of the song. I thought it went -

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dogs say goodnight.

Apparently the actual lyrics are "the dark sacred night."

The songwriters clearly weren't as creative as I am.
