My kindergarten was divided into three reading groups. I was in the second group and instead of reading A King on a Swing I was stuck reading Six Ducks on a Pond. I'm sure it's my mom's fault. Or my dad's. I can't decide which one.

Actually, it was probably Mrs. Sassaman's fault.

Good thing I'm over this incident from a few decades ago and it doesn't even bother me anymore.
