This is a photo of the girls petting a random cat we encountered at some park in Minnesota. We encourage the girls to pet strange animals because it teaches them to be gentle and caring. And also, if they get scratched or bitten and have Inoculation lymphoreticulosis ("cat scratch fever") they can write about that in their college entrance essays because I bet they give pretty good scholarships to kids who have overcome adversity like cat scratch fever.
