The other night I saw the most amazing lightning storm I have ever seen. As you can tell from the image above, I'm still figuring out how to photograph lightning. Regardless, it was awesome.

Simultaneously, the fireworks display for the opening ceremonies of Iowa Games was happening. When I called Chris to see if she wanted to with me to watch the coolest lightning storm ever, she asked me if I was sure it was lightning and not fireworks. She thinks I'm not very smart sometimes.
