Meltdowns

To take a photograph is to participate in another person's mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out
this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time's relentless melt.

Elizabeth cries every day. Usually at bedtime. Often at other times - like when she's hungry. When she is tired or hungry she gets MEAN. I refer to those times as "Elizabethan Meltdowns."

  1. Vdery interesting quote from Susan Sontag. I wonder if she is reffering to 'non-human people'; which might be a strange concept, but is applied to everything around you. Because that as well is mutating and continously changing as well as people are.

Most photography that I take is of natural sceneries.
