- - - - -Once upon a time, Elizabeth suffered a tragic flip-flop / bicycle injury that resulted in a very damaged toe. She had softball, and Chris "encouraged" her to go to the game and play.
Later that evening, the following exchange transpired...
Chris: Elizabeth, I'm proud of you for trying this.
Elizabeth: You kinda forced me. Not kinda. You did. If it was up to me, I'd be at home with my foot elevated and an ice pack. But, no, it's crammed in the smallest shoe ever.
Chris: I hope it doesn't get infected and fall off.
