When the waiter brought me my burger with deep fried chili he said, "Be sure to stab that before you eat it."
I had never been given those directions by a waiter before.
I enjoyed the experience, but I did not enjoy the deep fried chili that much.
Sometimes you do things so you can say that you've done them or so you have a story to tell later.
This is one of those cases.
