I think that it's good that Athenaeus combined these this way. It's like an old timey matching exam where you had to draw lines to match one thing to another:

WOOD                     DRINK

WINE                       READ

FRIENDS                 BURN

AUTHORS               TRUST

And if you were a teacher and gave this quiz and some kid matched the following:

Wood -- Trust

Wine -- Drink

Friends -- Burn

Authors -- Read

Would you be concerned that the kid matched friends and burn or ecstatic that the kid got two of these right since no one reads much Athenaeus anymore? I guess it depends on your teaching philosophy.
