The other day Leslie and I went to play disc golf. Leslie said, "I'm so excited! I'm just like a little puppy."

I responded, "We should get a little puppy!"

Leslie said, "I thought you wanted to wait until you get tenure to get a puppy."

I said, "They're getting rid of tenure everywhere, so we can get a puppy NOW!"

I'm pretty much a silver lining kind of person if it means that I can get a puppy.
