Work

I consider it the highest compliment when my employees go out and start their own companies in competition with me.  I always send them a plant to wish them well.  Of course, it's a cactus.

Work email exchange between minion and I.

Me:  I believe we can cancel today's meeting since we decided yesterday we were done and didn't need that meeting.  Do you concur?

Sara:  I do.  I am making nice strides in the curriculum for a web training this morning, so the additional time will be fantastic.  :)

Me:  Okay.

         Get back to work and quit dinking around on email.

         (pause)

         I love being a boss.
