Maddie was home sick this week. She happened to be at home sick on a day that Elizabeth didn't have school. When Chris and I got home that night, we asked them how the day had been.

Maddie: Elizabeth was really strict. She said I couldn't watch TV and made sure I didn't have any fun at all since I was sick.

Chris: Sounds like she'd be a good nurse or doctor.

Michelle: Or mom.

Maddie: Yeah. Except that she wasn't at all loving or anything.
