I have almost always been a rule follower. My current job in judicial affairs is a result of my respect for rules. I think I started out following rules because I really wanted to be a Supreme Court justice and thought it would be a good idea to have a clean record.

Today, I find it unlikely that I will ever be a Supreme Court Justice, though I would love to even make "the short list."

(pause)

Yes, I would definitely rather be on the short list for the Supreme Court that the other kinds of lists some people keep.
