Ripley does not like to look directly at a camera.  He will maybe give it a sideways glance, but that's about it.  I think it is because he has had a camera flash in the eyeball one too many times.  I don't know who did that too him.

Sometimes he will look directly at you when you're taking a photo if you tape a steak to your forehead.  But I hardly ever do that.
