It makes me happy that Elizabeth retains information about history. Not only does she listen and remember, but she cares enough to put her own criticisms on the people about whom she learns. Consider the following example:
Elizabeth: I don't like Patrick Henry. He's a loudmouth. AND he gave away whiskey at the polls.
