Some people don't trust their kids enough to let them go up on the roof. At our house, it's just the opposite. We expect them to go up there and take care of things like lights around the holidays, cleaning the gutters, etc. I mean, seriously, it's not like I'm going up there. I could fall and get hurt. And people are always saying how quickly kids heal from major injuries. Just makes sense.
