Schedule

A schedule defends chaos from whim.

Elizabeth likes to be organized, but doesn't always do well with school and other tasks. So, she has a dry erase board in her room and she works with Chris each week to mark down the things she needs to take care of.

If you notice in the upper left hand corner of the board there is a notation: "Punishment - pay for door." This is because Elizabeth was angry at Maddie a few weeks ago and kicked our bathroom door so hard (while Maddie was on the phone calling Chris and I to let us know that there was an issue) that she cracked it.

Anyway, that tantrum reminds me of another time when Maddie called. She was talking and then we heard, "Elizabeth - put down those scissors!" and the line went dead. We got home pretty quickly that day. E had cut neither the phone nor her sister. Which was good.

I am not sure why "Pay for Door" is checked off. I haven't seen any cash, yet. Maybe she paid Chris.
