Lighthouses

Inside my empty bottle I was constructing a lighthouse while all the others were making ships.

I don't think of lighthouses as guides for ships or as symbolic of safety on one's journey or as beacons representing home. Instead, I think of them as very big lights spinning around in the dark by the water.

  1. and i think of them as a place i'd like to live in one day. right after i live in a windmill. the old-fashioned kind, not a wind turbine. that would just be annoying. there aren't any windows.
