I agree.  Sometimes the educational process can be rather gloomy, though.  You hit rough spots where it is difficult to see or to see what others see or for others to see at all.  We all have different things to learn and therefore different educations to have.

It's like the light is sometimes on and other times the dark is where you have to go to do the learning.

And then there is also the possibility that some kid is just flicking the light switch in your classroom.  Don't worry though...  Just as some learning happens in the light and some in the dark, some happens in the principal's office.
